Overview

For HR teams still running onboarding, training or internal processes through spreadsheets, PDFs and email chains. We build an app or platform employees actually want to use — with clear structure and, where it makes sense, playful elements for extra motivation.

What's included01

What we build for HR teams

01

Onboarding apps

Structured onboarding for new hires with checklists, documents and progress tracking.

02

Training & learning platforms

Internal upskilling with tasks, quizzes and progress tracking instead of a folder of PDFs.

03

Gamification elements

Streaks, badges and progress bars that measurably increase adoption of internal tools.

04

Internal self-service portals

Leave requests, time tracking or forms handled digitally instead of by email.

Guide02

Software for HR teams: onboarding, learning and self-service

HR software is used by people who did not choose it. Whether a solution works is therefore decided by everyday use — not by the feature list.

01

What is missing next to the HR system

HR systems cover master data, absences and payroll well. It gets thinner with everything company-specific: onboarding for a particular role, safety briefings in production, shift swaps, internal vacancies or an ideas programme.

For those cases we build a lean application that reads master data from the HR system and writes results back to it. The system of record stays what it is.

02

Reaching employees without a desk

In production, logistics, care and retail many employees have no company computer and often no company email. A mobile app on their own phone is the only channel that really reaches them.

That sets requirements: sign-in without an email address, plain language, several languages, short learning units for a break. And it needs a clear rule on what is voluntary — use of private devices cannot be assumed.

03

Employee data and co-determination

Employee data is specially protected, and in Germany the works council has a say on technical systems that can monitor behaviour or performance. So we plan in a way that answers this question early: which data is created, who sees it, and for what?

In practice that means reporting at team level rather than per person where that is enough, short retention periods, and documentation you can present to the works council and the data protection officer.

04

When gamification helps

Points and leaderboards work for activities that repeat and are voluntary: learning paths, health campaigns, ideas programmes. For mandatory tasks they quickly feel forced, and with performance data they are delicate.

So we rely on visible progress rather than competition: what have I completed, what comes next? What a complete learning environment looks like is described on the learning platform page.
