RaedHealth, a HealthTech startup from Saudi Arabia, helps people treat diabetes and lose weight with medication and professional consultations. Its customer relationship ran entirely through Zoho CRM and WhatsApp. Together with CPO and co-founder Saleh, we designed and built a dedicated app for premium patients and a panel for the dietitians who care for them.

The project at a glance

Challenge

Onboarding, check-ins, reminders and payments were handled manually in Zoho CRM and WhatsApp, which limited how close and loyal premium customers could become.

Solution

An Arabic right-to-left app for patients and an English left-to-right panel for dietitians, synced with Zoho CRM and connected to WhatsApp (Wati) and Zid payments.

Result

The app launched after three months. According to the client, engagement, retention and average order value in the premium segment went up.

The client

A HealthTech startup with a loyal customer base

RaedHealth combines medication with dietitian consultations for people with diabetes and overweight. When we met Saleh, the startup already had paying customers, but every step, from onboarding to reminders and payments, happened by hand in Zoho CRM and WhatsApp. The goal: a premium app that raises loyalty and lifetime value among existing clients.

The challenge

Our first Arabic product, and it had to feel premium

The app was the flagship experience for paying clients, so it needed a high-end feel. It also had to serve two audiences in two reading directions on one shared backend.

  • RTL from scratch

Every screen, gesture and layout convention had to be rebuilt for right-to-left, not simply mirrored.

  • Zoho CRM stays

FlutterFlow has no built-in Zoho connector, yet existing processes could not be disrupted.

  • Two roles, one product

Arabic-speaking patients and English-speaking dietitians share one data model and one set of rules.

Discovery & UX

Mapping the business logic before the first screen

We started by reviewing RaedHealth's systems and screens. Our business analyst and PM then ran brainstorming sessions with Saleh on functionality, user stories and architecture.

Subscriptions and payments, step by step

We charted how subscription status and tier decide what a patient sees: Premium unlocks paid orders, Basic blocks the system. Before the remaining medication days run out, the app requests a Zid payment link, marks the order as paid in Zoho and triggers delivery.

A data model synced with Zoho

The Zoho patient record stays the source of truth: subscription, last order status, dosage, remaining days, weekly call slot and assigned dietitian. It syncs with the app's users, messages and dietitian profiles, while weight history and documents are linked by ID.

Wireframes for both sides

We wireframed the dietitian panel and the patient screens (home, orders and chat) in grey and refined the flows with the client before any visual design. Problems surfaced at this stage cost minutes, not sprints.

The app for premium patients

Calm teal tones, generous cards and a right-to-left layout throughout, with three tabs: Orders, Chat and Home.

Home, chat and profile

Home shows weight progress between start weight and goal, the current medication and dosage with treatment plan and guidelines, and the assigned dietitian with the next weekly call. The profile collects the medical declaration, treatment plans, injection reminders, policies and a direct line to customer care on WhatsApp.

Orders and a full-featured chat

Every order shows its price in riyal, payment date, tracking number and delivery status, and a new one is placed in one tap. In the chat, patients and dietitians exchange photos, videos, files and voice messages, each type collected in its own tab.

Patients, chat and context on one screen

Dietitians filter patients by assigned dietitian, medication and stage (new, onboarding, to restart, in treatment) and see who is blocked. Next to the conversation sits the patient card with weight progress, medication, weekly call and subscription, all in English and left to right.

Tech stack

FlutterFlow, wired into existing tools

FlutterFlow delivered both apps quickly on real Flutter code, with Firebase as the backend. The integrations connect the tools RaedHealth and its customers already rely on.

  • FlutterFlow & Firebase

Patient app and dietitian panel on Flutter, with Firebase as the backend.

  • Zoho CRM

The existing customer database, synced with the app database.

  • Wati (WhatsApp API)

Reminders and updates in the channel customers already use.

  • Zid

Local payment processing for subscription orders.

Results

A premium tier that keeps patients close

Communication between dietitians and patients became smoother, subscription management was streamlined, and both sides gained clear visibility into progress and health metrics. According to RaedHealth, the premium segment delivered a notable return on investment.

  • Higher average order value (AOV)
  • Stronger customer loyalty, satisfaction and engagement
  • Improved lifetime value through a seamless subscription model
